 Beautiful Snakes
I was recently hiking and caught sight of two great looking snakes. It was around 11:00 when I saw the first one, and the second around 2:00. The first was a gorgeous corn snake, around 3 feet long, and the second was either a northern water snake or a black racer. I only really got to see the color of it, because when I tried to get a better look it snapped right out and bit my arm. It let go right away, but i decided not to mess with it anymore. The corn snake was a bit calmer and allowed me to move her off the trail, which was greatly appreciated by the two young ladies who were paralyzed 10 feet away. They though it was a rattlesnake as it kept vibrating its tail in the dry leaves. Never seen that before, it was a treat. Forgot the camera though, so I only got pictures with my cell and they didn't come out so great. Happy hunting everyone!
