 Green Snakes at Sea
I was just out working on a mooring anchor. I live on Clark Island Cove where the sandy/muddy bottom (clam flats) make accessing my anchors by foot very easy at low tide. As I was working away fixing ropes and chains I looked down and a Smooth Green Snake was swimming/slithering at my feet. A very beautiful snake but we were150 feet away from the rockweed - low tide line and another sixty feet from the high tide line and not salt water inundated rocky shore. I hope it makes it way back with tide and does not get eaten by one of numerous shore birds or ducks that hank out here.

 Re: Green Snakes at Sea
That's very interesting. I've never come across greens in water at all, nevermind in the ocean! Awesome.
